We donated one improved Corona Cleaner F

At the end of December 2020, we donated an improved prototype of the Corona Cleaner F to the Matsukawa Neurological Clinic, part of the Shozen-kai Medical Corporation in Kobe, to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Our company will continue to do everything we can to help end the coronavirus pandemic as soon as possible.

<For inquiries> During the holiday period, we will only be accepting inquiries by email and fax.
Beginning January 3, we will respond to all inquiries in the order they were received (MON).

We donated ten units of the improved Corona Cleaner F to Marugame City.

On August 18, 2020, we donated ten units of the improved Corona Cleaner F to Marugame City to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Originally developed by Dr. Akiyoshi, an Associate Professor at Osaka Prefecture University, the Corona Cleaner F is a device designed to inactivate viruses contained in airborne droplets using a tungsten trioxide photocatalyst that responds to visible light with high efficiency. Under the guidance of Dr. Akiyoshi, we used a 3D printer to make an improved prototype based on his Corona Cleaner F. As shown in the image below, we have confirmed that the improved product can collect a wide range of airborne droplets, and we plan to use it in high traffic areas or in places where ventilation is difficult.

Yamada Casting pledges to do our utmost to help end the spread of the COVID-19 as quickly as possible. As a company with strong ties to our local community, we will continue to donate to local medical facilities in order to contribute to the well being and development of our local region.

During the fiscal year 2020 we were selected to participate in the “Consortium of New Export Powerhouses”

June 30, 2020. During the FY 2020 we were selected by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to participate in the “Consortium of New Export Powerhouses” which provides support by experts for overseas expansion. With the support of JETRO, we plan to work toward overseas expansion, beginning in Germany.

We met with representatives from the German company Plastcontrol as well as from the German-Japanese Society of Bonn.

On February 3, 2020 we met with Mr. Sabine Ganter-Richter, President of the German-Japanese Society of Bonn, Mr. Marco Invernizzi, Mr. Norbert Sappelt of Plastcontrol, and Mr. Tadano, CEO of the Japan-German Society of Kagawa (Honorary Advisor of Tadano Co., Ltd.). Their visit was made possible by support from the Japan-Germany Society of Kagawa, as well as the GRANITE project, which promotes business exchange between Japan and Germany. During the visit, participants observed our production line for aluminum gravity mold casting. We also discussed future products we plan to manufacture as part of our joint business plan.
Moving forward, we will continue to promote the export of our aluminum casting products to overseas companies.

*Project GRANITE (German Research Ambassadors Network for Industrial Technology Endeavors) is part of the research marketing campaign “The Future of Work” managed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project is being carried out by the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology and Lyogroup International. The aim of this project is to create a sustainable German-Japanese network for applied research and technology, mainly in the field of IoT, and to promote joint research and development as well as technology transfer through networking between German and Japanese companies, researchers, and local governments.
